
Member representing Ezeagu/Udi Federal Constituency of Enugu State, Hon. Sunday Cyriacus Umeha, will on Wednesday, September 3, flag off four rural road projects aimed at opening up rural communities in his constituency.
The roads are Akama – Afor Oghe Road, Amankwo Imezi – Amankwo Indiagu Road, Amansiodo – Ihuonyia Road, all in Ezeagu local government area, and
Amokwe – Ngwo Uno Road in Udi local government area.
The projects, which is to be supervised by Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA), were awarded to Messers MIGOAL Multi-Standard Ltd., and Chrisokenson International Ltd.
This is the first time the people will be witnessing such simultaneous road construction in their communities.
And as the people of the communities wait with cautious expectation, for the flag off of the projects, a group which called itself “Vibrant Youth for Umeha,” commended the lawmaker for the impactful road projects, which he has attracted to constituency.
The group in a statement by its Coordinator, Mc Oscar, said it expect more from the lawmaker.
“We continue to enjoy the streetlights you installed across almost all the communities in Udi and Ezeagu, as well as the solar-powered boreholes that have brought relief to our people.
“We say a heartfelt thank you to you, our leader, and pray that God will continue to guide, protect, and strengthen you,” the statement added.
